How to become a Tribal Leader
We set ground breaking precedence when we “open sourced” our methodology and materials to the business community. We invited people who read Tribal Leadership or have taken our leadership courses to use, adapt, and even sell services related to our methodology, as long as they credit CultureSync and the authors as the source.
Now that these methods and materials have taken hold and been adopted by many organizations and management consultants, we recognize the value in distinguishing who is effective in using Tribal Leadership to produce results.
Tribal Leadership Approval Program
A “Tribal Leader” is a leader whose teams produce vastly superior results by synchronizing culture and strategy. To this end they consistently stabilize and effectively develop other people around them who lead from their role and expertise.
After a business leader completes our Tribal Leadership training and then demonstrates effective Stage Four leadership in their organization, we will publicly recognize them as a CultureSync™ Approved Tribal Leader. View the official list of leaders who have been approved.
A set of leaders have now completed the Approval Program from start to finished. What we noticed initially was a group of very smart people who understood the theory and principles of Tribal Leadership. But when pressed, would fall back to Stage Three. What has emerged through the training and approval process is a group of people who are stable and effective being Stage Four throughout their life.
Q & A
1. How long does it take to be Approved?
About 6-8 months. It takes about 4 months to complete the initial formal training, and then an additional 2-4 month to meet the measures demonstrating a leader is stable and effective leading at Stage Four.
2. How many hours per week is the training?
The feedback we have received from leaders in the program is about 5-6 hours a week. That includes the classroom time, completing assignments, and meeting with your triads.
3. How much does it cost?
At the current pricing, all tuition and fees related to being Approved will run about $1500 total.
4. How does the Tribal Leadership Intensive fit into the Approval Program?
The Tribal Leadership Intensive is a prerequisite to join the Approval Program.
